Digital
Access
Communications
System) is a trunked two-way radio communications system
operating on the 800 MHz frequency band.
The EDACS system
uses ProVoice™, / ESK digital protocol, a voice
coding techniques providing high security two-way radio
systems. Scanning Information:
Most of the EDACS systems in San Antonio and Bexar County
use "ESK" (EDACS System Key). As of June 2009 there are no
commercial scanners on the market that are capable monitoring
EDACS Provoice™ systems. Visit
